Fireworks!

Well I tried to get my 3 year old to nap so that he wouldn't be too tired for tonight's late night event to celebrate Yom Ha'atzmaut.    He didn't actually fall asleep until 6pm!  When it was time to go, I couldn't wake him...so he missed it!  I saw the fireworks out of my 3rd floor art studio/guest room.  Here's the view...

  1. Congratulations on starting a blog. I look forward to seeing more of your Israel inspired art. I heard about you via Leora. I live in NZ and have visited Israel twice. Do you know about all the artists in the Galilee? There is an amazing painter in Kfar Hanasi called Markie. I think he is one of the original founders of the kibbutz and he gives classes.

  2. Thanks for visiting! I'm planning to spend some time up North and would love to look into some of the artists there. Thanks for mentioning Kfar Hanasi...I'll check it out.

  3. Sparrow, thanks for mentioning the artist Marcki in Kfar Hanassi. I found his site and contacted him about visiting and taking a class with him in the summer. Artist Lawrence Marcuson(Marcki) has beautiful paintings, definately worth looking at. http://www.kfar-hanassi.org.il/
